Florian, senior fullstack dev, with an embedded software background to start with. I like pairing with PMs and designers, understanding what users actually want, and looking at metrics before diving into code.
Sports & outdoors
Road cycling, running, padel, mountain hikes. When I need to clear my head, cycling wins. Otherwise padel for something more intense.
Home automation & 3D printing
At home, Home Assistant runs the lights, temperature and CO2 sensors. On the side, the 3D printer mostly cranks out small everyday tools: toothbrush holders, mini battery storage, and all those "this'd be handy if..." ideas you end up modeling. That's often where I learn the most.
Travel
An obsession with the Americas (Brazil, Colombia, Guatemala, Belize) that started by accident, with a few side trips through Asia (Malaysia, India). Two moments stuck with me: tuk-tuk to the Taj Mahal in 40°C heat — passing a Kanwariya procession on the way, Shiva pilgrims carrying water from the Ganges over miles, music blaring and water poles balanced on shoulders, and Comuna 13 in MedellÃn, visited with a local guide who had seen the neighborhood go from the worst to a tourist spot. All my photos are shot on iPhone, and recycled all over this site — hero, backgrounds, and a couple of hidden spots.
